Can anyone use the treatment?
Yes! That's the beauty of our treatment anyone can use it with its natural ingredients even kids can use it.
Is the treatment good for all hair types?
Yes! It can be used on all hair types. But we have 2 scents now so the lavender as it is amazing for all hair types it is amazing on curly hair. Our cinnamon treatment is amazing for those who have straight hair or like to get their hair strengthened.
How long should I leave the treatment in for?
I personally love to leave it on overnight. But also leaving in for a few hours work as well. The longer the better for faster results!
What should I do after?
Wash your hair like you normally would! Then style however you want!
Can I put some of the oil in my hair before styling it?
Only if you are going to curl your hair for extra hydration. I do not recommend when you're going to straighten it.
How long do I warm up the treatment for?
I personally warm it up under hot water placing it in a cup or bowl. You can also warm it up in the microwave for no more than 20 seconds (removing the cap)
How do I apply the treatment?
Once the treatment is warm, damp hair & split into 2-4 sections. Then starting with the bottom, you can use the dropper with some oil & apply it directly to the scalp, massage the scalp for a minute or 2 going down to the ends at this point you can also add more oil to your palm and massage that throughout your hair going down to your ends. Adding oil as you go! Do the same to the top section and massage all together (you can also comb out your hair at this point) Tie up and leave overnight or for a few hours. I like to use my microfiber towel overnight for extra heat. Then wash like normal.
Additional Tips:
> If you have curly hair: Only apply shampoo to your scalp! This will prevent frizz.
> Gently massage your scalp in small circular motions with your fingers when shampooing to prevent excessive tangling & damage.
> When towel drying your hair. Don't rub vigorously as this will cause split ends. Then using our microfiber towels as they suck up more moisture.
> Use a wide-tooth comb: When detangling it's the best tool to use, it provides lesser friction & gentler on the hair & prevents breakage.
> Washing your hair everyday strips natural oils & proteins, so to keep your hair & scalp healthy shampoo 2-3 times a week.
> KNOW YOUR HAIR! There are conflicting opinions about how often to shampoo your hair. It all comes down to personal preference & individual needs.
This depends on:
~Your hair type & texture
~How often you use hair products
~Activity level, for example, people with oily hair may need to shampoo every day, while people with dry hair may need to shampoo less frequently.
> Your hair should be trimmed once every 2-3 months to remove split ends.
> Summer Routine vs. Winter Routine! Summer months typically bring a need for more hydration due to heat & humidity. As for Winter months typically a need for moisture due to dry air. Adjust product accordingly.
> Hair is more fragile when wet, so avoid excessive brushing until mostly dry. I like to comb my hair when I have my treatment on its easier for me.
> When conditioning your hair, rinse with cold water, this helps to seal the cuticle. Making it harder for moisture to enter the hair follicle which causes frizz.
> Every time you shampoo, massage your scalp for 1 minute to stimulate hair growth and enhance the strength of your roots.
> To get the full benefits of your hair care products: apply them 10 minutes before styling, to let them fully absorb into your hair strands.
